1. Why become an Affiliate?
The dELiAs.cOm Affiliate Program allows you to make money by referring customers to the dELiAs.cOm website. Every time you refer a customer to us and the customer makes a purchase at dELiAs.com, you earn a percentage of the sale. We handle order processing and fulfillment plus we provide superior customer service. You have access to tracking and traffic statistics on the Internet through our partner LinkShare.
2. Why partner with dELiAs.cOm rather than with other sports and outdoors-related sites?
dELiAs.com's high name recognition and trustworthy reputation mean more sales and greater profits for you.
3. What are dELiAs.com's criteria for accepting or rejecting an application?
We encourage anyone with a website to apply for our program. However, we reserve the right to reject sites that contain objectionable content. We define that as material that may be deemed pornographic, violent, illegal, discriminatory or socially or politically controversial. Sites that contain such content will be rejected. We also reserve the right to reject any site for any reason. The Affiliate relationship may be terminated at the sole discretion of either dELiAs.cOm or the Affiliate at any time.
4. Can I participate if I live outside the U.S.?
Yes. We have affiliates from all over the world and are working hard to add even more. We suggest you read the complete text of the Terms and Conditions before you join. Referral fees are paid monthly in U.S. dollars.
5. Can I apply to be an Affiliate if I don't yet have a website?
Unfortunately, no. Your website must be live so we can review it. We look forward to your application once your site is complete.
6. How do I join?
Go to the dELiAs.cOm Affiliate Home Page and read the terms and conditions. After accepting the terms and conditions, complete the application. You'll hear from us within 24 hours after you submit your application.
7. Can I apply to the Affiliate Program more than once?
Yes, you may submit multiple applications if you have more than 1 site.
8. Does it cost anything to become an dELiAs.cOm Affiliate?
No. There are no fees of any kind for applying to and participating in the dELiAs.cOm Affiliate Program. There are no minimum sales requirements.
9. Can I join if my site is not-for-profit?
Yes. You can earn money for your organization or cause. For tax purposes, please supply us with your not-for-profit tax identification when you submit your application.
10. How much money can I earn?
The dELiAs.cOm Affiliate Program pays for performance. The more you sell, the more you earn. While we can't project what your sales levels will be, we have seen an increased level of success from sites that utilize links to drive traffic directly to specific areas of the dELiAs.cOm site that correspond with their visitors' interests.
11. How and when do I get paid?
dELiAs.cOm issues commission checks every month. If commissions from your site do not exceed $25 during the month, the commission will accrue and appear in subsequent calendar months. You are responsible for any taxes associated with commission fees.
12. How does dELiAs.cOm track orders coming from my website?
How does the LinkShare system work?
dELiAs.cOm uses LinkShare, the leading third-party provider of affiliate solutions for merchants on the Internet, for our Affiliate Program and reporting. Whenever a visitor from your site clicks on a link and makes a purchase from dELiAs.com, LinkShare tracks the transaction. The information is then reported to you via our password-protected management site and back to us for distribution of payments.
You will have access to a password-protected website that will provide you with links to put on your site. You will also get reports that show how your links are performing and how much they have earned. There are 16 different reports that can be run 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
13. What products qualify for commissions?
Every item that is purchased through our site will qualify for a commission with the exception of gift certificates and subscriptions.
14. What about product returns?
If a customer returns a product for a refund, or if credit card charges are reversed due to credit card fraud or a dispute, your affiliate account will be debited for any commission earned on that transaction. If a product is exchanged for new merchandise or if the merchandise is lost or damaged and we ship replacement goods to the customer, your commissions will not be affected.
15. Where can I find graphics and logos to use on my website? Can they be altered?
Go to www.dELiAs.com/affiliates and log on with your username and password. Select "Create Links" to access dELiAs.cOm graphics and logos to use on your website. The images that we create for you represent our brand identity and are consistent with our current marketing efforts. They cannot be altered.
16. What if I manage more than 1 website?
You need to sign up separately for each website. This option will allow you to see the breakdown of earnings and traffic for each site. You will receive a separate check for each account.
17. Can I use prices on my site?
No. dELiAs.cOm periodically offers special promotions and discounts on select merchandise. Conflicting prices may confuse our customers.
18. Can I take an order on my website and send the customer and order information to dELiAs.com?
No. Please direct all customers to dELiAs.cOm to ensure that they can get current availability and pricing information and you get credit for the transaction.
19. How do I change my contact information?
You are able to change your contact information in the password-protected Affiliate Interface on LinkShare under "Updating Your Profile".
20. What else should I know?
You should read the dELiAs.cOm Affiliate Program Agreement and make sure you fully understand the Terms and Conditions. |
